Is the CERT system a joke?
I went to bid on this job: https://www.peopleperhour.com/job/bespoke-specialist-search-functionality-for-wordpress-gen-1857849
and discovered that the buyer has a Top Ranking in CERT despite the fact that his profile indicates that he has completed only one project that was 8 months ago.

This flies in the face of everything you sent me about how to raise my CERT level. How could one project 8 months ago possibly qualify someone for Top CERT?

Hi Terry,
Sorry for any confusion.
Neil B, who you are referring to, is a top rated seller, you are looking at a job description, therefore 'projects completed' are about his projects with sellers as a buyer, not as a seller.
The CERT system is a computer generated algorithm, therefore everything we tell you about CERT is still very much factual and will raise your CERT level.
Please let me know if i can help with anything else.

Right, I understood that. I assumed, incorrectly, that the rating would be based on the current position of the user meaning that it would be a different rating for a seller than a buyer even for the same user. Using the same rating for both doesn't seem right. Selling services and buying services are not the same thing and shouldn't be rated as such.
