Please stop allowing shortened URLs they just get used for scams

I was excited to be invited to bid on a job for SEO of a US based fashion brand  only to discover it was just a scam to drive traffic to a cell phone site using a shortened URL https://www.peopleperhour.com/job/seo-specialist-1864073

Please stop allowing shortened URLs period. So far they have only been used to leverage your platform to drive traffic to other sites and waste dozens of your hard working freelancers' time. 

One shortened URL was actually used to try and get users to install malware.

Time to be responsible and screen the URLs in your job posts the same way you scan for my Skype name and other contact information.

  Hi Terry,

  I can no longer see that job post as it has been moderated, most of our users are very active at using the 'report' button as I suspect you probably did. Thank you for bringing such jobs to our attention.

  We always suggest to all our users to install an excellent virus scanner/protection against such viruses.
