what if the developer asked for upfront payment

Hi 

I had a clear agreement with the developer, I will pay him after receiving each milestone source code, But now he asked me to pay up front to send me the source code? if I pay him will he can release the amount immediately or after I confirm receiving the source code ??

  Hi B,

  The money can go in to escrow for piece of mind to both parties but you should never release the funds until the work, or part of the work if you are working to milestones, has been delivered.

  You can add extra funds to escrow you just need to ask the seller to raise a deposit request.

  another question, can I put another amount In Escrow after releasing the deposit for the same project?
