Buyer cancelled because job was taking longer
Buyer cancelled the job and is requesting a refund. The reason given being that I had not completed it within the agreed time.
My position is that although the job was taking longer that I at first thought; I was making steady progress. It turned out there job was somewhat more work involved than I had estimated. I had to turn down a few smaller jobs so that I could prioritise this Job.
Buyer informed me that she has booked another developer to do the project
The work that I have done towards the project can be used to give the new developer a tremendous head start as much of the required functionality is in place and simply needs to be refined. I am prepared to allow the new developer to use my existing code where helpful and provide any clarification thereof.
