    Hi Sharon,

    You can simply cancel the invoice request until you are happy work has been delivered. Moreover, if the seller 'never' provides the work you can request a refund by clicking the 'more' button above the text box where you would usually send them a message.

    I did this but he just keeps sending an invoice! He has not produced any work and says he will not produce it until I pay him! I have told him it's the other way round which he has more or less agreed that is correct however still demanding money before producing anything.

    Are you sure this is an invoice and not the payment request for Escrow? You should pay the escrow first before the work is done and the invoice after.

    Still he will not provide any proof of what he has done. So I have now requested a refund.... but it seems he has to authorise the refund?????

    I paid the escrow at the start when I accepted to proposal. So he says he started work but now he is asking for me to pay the invoice, but he has not produced anything. Said for me to pay the invoice now then he will send me what he has done later in the week

    Hi,

    Subject: URGENT - DO NOT PAY BUT WANT MY REFUND BACK

    I paid £36 into escrow and I keep getting emails from you that you will release the funds to Muhammed today. I cannot find any visible active button where I can reject this request.

    This person was actually no 'male' or Muhammed as on your profile. When I paid into escrow it ended being a female who name was totally different. More importantly she did NO work whatsoever and asked me to download an unauthorised software, of which I said 'no' and ended up actually buying the liscemsed software - so wasted my money and time on both fronts with a dodgy person who is not at all what the profile says he is.

     

    Please can I cancel this and get my money back asap. S/he has a real cheek to know full well they did nothing and still try and get the money. Totally unethical, unprofessional trying to get me to get an unlicensed software. There is a trail of evidence I can furnish you with, with the whatapp communication. Very disappointing on both aspects and the fact there is no quick way to reverse this on your portal. Please advise as my monies must not go out to her, nothing was done or delivered and she knows full well it is undeserving of her to even request it.
