editing/writing jobs

Bids for editing and writing jobs are based on subject matter and length.  People posting jobs should include length and subject matter.  For example so many people are looking for content writers or bloggers, but don't say what topic or what the word count is so that makes it difficult for the bidder to have any idea on how to price the bid.  Please include places for that information to be included in the job posting.  Thanks.

    I strongly agree with this. Bidding on these sort of jobs is almost impossible when you have no time idea of the word count (even a rough guide would be a big help) or even what the subject matter is. I think all writing, editing, proofreading etc jobs should require that information.

    I (and many others) have to leave questions about this on jobs before we can bid, but it’s very rare that the buyer actually responds so someone else ends up getting the job.
