Provide an Alternative for Proof of Address
So I've just been asked to provide proof of address (after asking for a withdrawal, which seems backwards to me, why not let me provide this sooner?), however it raises an issue; I live in a shared household so utility bills aren't in my name, and I use paperless banking so I only receive a single statement each year from my bank, so not within the three month period requested. I have the same issue with all statements I get from HMRC and my local council, as all of these are handled digitally. Given the choice I would expect that most professionals working online would opt to go paper-free, as I have.
I would like to strongly urge PPH to adopt an alternative method for proof of address; for example, if you were to send out your own letter containing a code to the address listed for my account, then I could simply enter that code to verify that I received it, this would be a lot easier in a day and age when people don't have to rely on postal mail nearly as much.
I would also like to strongly urge that sellers be asked for identification documents in advance of their making a withdrawal; asking afterwards, and possibly delaying the withdrawal, seems a very poor time to do it, and feels very hostile after having already worked hard for the money. It sends a strange message if you're willing to accept who I claim to be, right up until I actually want my money.

Just wanted to clarify; I don't actually feel that PPH are being hostile in asking for additional identification, and my withdrawal hasn't been delayed due to this, I just wanted to pointed out that the timing of when this occurs feels very unfortunate.
If I had been given an opportunity to add this to my account sooner then I would have done so, and I think it's better to allow people to do it sooner, as it lets them know it may be required, and lets them do it well advance.
