No option to set time duration in custom proposal

Today, A buyer give me a order of background removing. I told him that, "I will take two days for completing this order." Then I creat a custom proposal for him then there is no option to set the time duration. After accepting my proposal from the side of buyer the timer of 24 hours is started. Now I want to know that, what happen after 24 hours? Because I am unable to raise invoice in 24 hours.
