Job unfinished but I didn't get the escrow back

I contacted someone to set up my wireless printer. 

The job was unfinished and I paid him half the amount decided and put in the escrow. However, after nearly 2 weeks I can see that I was charged the full amount. 

I thought half amount that was in escrow would have come back to me...??

  Hello Stefano, 

  The escrow amount is a deposit. When an Invoice is raised then the full amount is getting paid, as well as the escrow. For example, if the Proposal is for 100GBP and the escrow deposit is 50GB, when the Invoice will be raised the whole amount (another 50GBP) will be paid.

  Nevertheless, I have raised a ticket with our customer support team in order for them to review the case asap.
