Stop Spam Projects. Save Freelaners' Proposal Credits.

Hi, I am in PPH from long time. But recently I am seeing lots of spam projects. Might be some users trying to waste freelacers' proposal credits. Here are 3 different project responses from 3 different clients from different lications: http://tinyurl.com/w3z6bua http://tinyurl.com/vymdvwc http://tinyurl.com/w8ezcfb They all have wrote the exact same sentence. But they are different people from different locations. This cannot be coincident. So definitely someone trying to spam PPH with fake projects. One person might be creating multiple accounts from multiple locations. So I request PPH to use a better spam protection technique. Might be auto detect the user's country from the IP address and doesn't allow the user to change it from account. Ofcourse delete spam projects and spammers immediately. And finally if possible return the proposal credit to the freelancers. Thank you.

  Hi Anjan,

  Thank you for your feedback and for reporting these projects. We are having a look and will take any necessary actions.

  Regarding your suggestions on strengthening our moderation rules, they are all pretty valid (some of them already in place, but won't reveal more on this). For the last couple of months we have been running an operations review, during which we have identified several areas where we should improve. Enhancing our moderation flows, processes and rules is one of them, and it will take part early 2020. 

  So hopefully within the next 3 months you will be seeing fewer spam projects. In the meantime, please keep reporting any fake/spam projects that may slip our attention, so that we act immediately.

  And I have just been informed by our moderation team that we deactivated all 3 of them about 10 days ago. Once we deactivate a user all of their projects are automatically cancelled.
