Vague demands from a buyer
CompletedGood morning,
I'm a newbie here (but I worked here some years ago). Now a buyer asked me to proofread 20 articles in italian (from English). The offer was 111 dollars/hour. I thought that it was a mistake and offered 110 for the 20 articles. He wrote that he would give me the keywords and the articles. So he sent me the website name, and asked me how I would work on it. I explained that I would be working one by one and then letting them a general view. I wrote that I would begin working this morning, but I needed the articles and the keywords. This morning he wrote me another message, asking which kind of job I would do for him.
I'm sorry, but I can't understand. Maybe because I'm a newbie but, if he has urgence for the job, why doesn't he send me the articles and the keywornd? How can I explain him my job? It would be a waste of time. So I wrote to him my opinion and asked him to write me clearly what he wants from me.
I need to understand if I was correct or not with this buyer, because I'm used to work correctly and honestly and I don't like misunderstanding.
Would you mind explainig me the right things to di in these cases?
Many thanks
Maria
