Pricing Confusion

Hey people,

So I'm new to PPH and have come across something that is not clear. A copy writing post had a fixed price of £1.2k but in the description they have custom pricing for £40 per 1000 words with ongoing work.

So would that be paid £40 per work completed or £1.2k????

It seems the more projects I look into the more it gets confusing because of postings like this.

Please help
