Extremely low budget projects popping up recently
AnsweredI am a 3D generalist designer, and I have been the member of this website for sometime. However recently I have seen most of the 3D design projects that are so low budget it's outright offensive. This was the same problem on freelancer.com that made me stop using the website. PPH used to be good in this regard but now it's become more or less the same.
Here are some examples:
- 3D product visualisation with 3d model creation - $15 [Should be at least $200]
- A house floor plan requires to be turned into a 3D model with renders of interior and exterior - £50 [should be at least £500]
- Rigged 3d character with textures - $80 [Should be at least $400]
What is PPH doing to address this issue? Because this is an insult to the industry and as such if it continues, leaves me with no choice but to look for work somewhere else.

Hi Ketan,
Thank you for your feedback.
As I have recently replied here, there are several projects, both ongoing and forthcoming, aiming to address this issue. We hope that by the end of 2020, we will have tackled this efficiently.
In the meantime, please do report such projects by using the 'Send feedback for this project' option at the bottom of the project page. Rest assured that we take immediate actions on such feedback.
All the best,
Yannis

@yannis its July and nothing has been done so far. Irrelevant people bidding on projects that they have no skills in, terrible price expectations from clients. With the way the current market is going I would make in a year on PPH what I usually make in a week working directly with clients. Let that sink in for a moment.
I would like to have my account disabled if possible for now, until this matter has been sorted.

Hi Ketan,
As mentioned in my previous email, there are several ongoing projects via which we are aiming to tackle this issue, and hopefully we will start rolling these improvements out by the end of 2020.
I wish you had a bit more patience to stick around and see things getting better.
However, if you insist on deactivating your account, you can do so by going to Settings > General > Account (click on the 'here' link at the bottom of the section).
All the best,
Yannis

Ketan, I feel your pain.
Well, some people—I won’t name them, but you know who they are—dump prices. Also, quite often if they are told to create a new character, they steal a model, change it a bit and resell.
Reputation and honesty are our best weapons against them. An honest artist who never steals gets an advantage. Well, if the buyer doesn’t care about it, then that’s nothing we can do other than searching for another one.
