Invoice amount is greater than the proposal amount

I have an agreement with a buyer that he deposit $125 to my escrow account. It is the proposal amount that we are agreed on. But I have work more than we agreed initially. Can I raise an invoice of $300 to this workstream? if not what can I do now?
