PPH is not safe for Buyer it seems

We come to PPH and use this as escrow for the services listed by the Freelancers Here. I am here talking about the services which is more than $999.

In My case, I bought a Service which says that the Freelancer will secure a Guest Post on Forbes.com at cost of $1200. I purchased the service, link was delivered. The Service is for permanent Article on Forbes.com with my mention in it. To my surprise, the article was removed within 8 months only. This is because the whole Author profile is  taken down by the FORBES Publication as the person was selling links in regular basis and is caught. 

So whats my fault in this? I paid, its the freelancer who is responsible for this AUTHOR PROFILE. I Paid $1200 for my mention in Forbes article which was suppose to be permanently archived. I contacted him, he is silent and ignoring. So Basically the lesson learned is once you release payment to the Freelancer, you cannot do anything even though they claimed that the service will not be taken down or hampered in any way in future.

A Direct Payment through PAYPAL to FREELANCER  ( which we do on day to day basis ) would have been much better because we at least have 365 days for dispute if anything goes wrong.

This is Pure SCAM by the freelancer. He must have sold 20x in 8 months to various buyer and all the articles  are removed because his authorship is removed. To my fortunate, it came under my eye that the article is gone. I am sure rest other buyers are still unaware and they paid more than $999 to the freelancer.
