Sellers' offers must be specific? What about buyers' projects?

Thinking it was the only way to get my profile noticed, I posted a generic "offer", which was rejected because it wasn't specific enough.

But I do find it interestingly hypocritical the number of projects you allow to be posted that are so vague they necessitate clarification question(s) (that are usually never answered). I often see so-called "fixed price" projects that don't provide enough information to calculate exactly what a reasonable fixed price would be.  (They would be more reasonable if they were hourly.)  Your moderators apparently show more latitude with buyers than with sellers.

  Thank you for your feedback.

  Poor project briefs is an issue we have identified ourselves and we are currently running 2 long-term projects in order to address this. Hopefully early next year we will roll out the initial improvements we are currently working on.
