How to Write a Paragraph

A paragraph is a unified and coherent piece of writing dealing with a central idea. It has a topic sentence along with a controlling idea. The topic sentence introduces the topic and the controlling idea expresses a specific attitude of the writer towards the topic, which is developed in the body of the paragraph, using appropriate connectors. And maintaining a logical sequence between the sentences, using apt connectors or developers , is called coherence. In the end of a paragraph, there is a concluding sentence, which restates the topic sentence coupled with the same controlling idea to maintain unity.
