I'm new and had an potentially fishy interaction

Hello, 

I have recently signed up for this platform. 

Soon after the registration a project comes up - translation from English to my mother tongue. 

It looks suspicious, the buyer is new, has no profile picture, is named Michelle and is coming from Pakistan allegedly. 

But my friends tell me this is actually a test project implemented by platform itself to try out newcomers. 

Michelle than asks to follow a link to some Amazon audible books collection where supposedly her audiobook that needs translating is located. The action requires signing up on Amazon, giving credit card data for a free subscription. 

Long story short - link doesn't lead you to any audiobook, I inform Michelle next thing I know the project is cancelled and Michelle's profile deleted. I cancel my subscription, so far seemingly successfully. 

So, my question is - was this actually some sort of PPH project or a scam or something third?
