Threat from Freelancer
We have has major issues with a Freelancer, not for the first time. To cut a very long story short, they agreed to do some work and when due to be finished stated they had underestimated the agreed workload and wanted more money.
They were rude through-out the process after we awarded the project for some strange reason.
They've resorted to bullying and harassment and have now stated they have a full backup of my website and could 'down' this if they wanted to! Clearly a threat and a data breach that they were not given permission to copy our website data.
I've emailed PPH support but got no response. Spoke to them online, advised to end the contract which we did before above happened. I've now emailed them again asking for this to be investigated and approproate action be taken.
Any advice appreciated on how we can proceed with this. I'd prefer not to invoke legal action but may have to protect myself and my clients.
