PPH is holding my money in ESCROW for more than 45days!!
CompletedHow do I get my money back out of Escrow? The freelancer has completed the job and his invoice has been paid. It's now 45 days since we parted as happy contacts and PPH still holding £75 of my money in escrow without releasing it what can I do? They are not answering my requests? They are not answering the phone " All of their agents are currently busy...please stay on the line and you call will be answered by the first available agent...." this is repeated for over 20mins no one answers and I don't seem to have a way of receiving my money back. What do I do now? Is this a legal issue?

Yes refund requested...no response. I am sending them another email today asking for clarity as to why the money has not been released. If I still don't receive a response I'm not sure what else I can do but follow a legal route under the consumer rights 2015. It seems odd a freelancer raised an invoice for a job, I've paid the invoice completely, we have exchanged positive feedback which was over 45 days ago, and yet I have still not received my money back it just sits there in Escrow. I have another £200 sitting in escrow with another freelancer having just paid them £350? Should I be worried that I will be struggling to get this money back too? I understand why money is in escrow to support both parties, however so far as the buyer I seem to be the only party being treated unfairly.
