Client change his mind and has been refounded
AnsweredI am with PPH for more than 7 years and the first client that I have problems with.
I have done all the drawings requested for the client we approve a cost after I finish all the drawings the client changes his mind but he didn't want to pay more for a new concept.... we raise a dispute and he has been refunded with the money from escrow.
Is very disappointing for me as nobody from PPH read the workstream to judge what's happen there.
There is me with more than 10 hours worked and no money.
Very disappointed!

Hi George, I hear you on this one-this just happened to me. There is zero support for freelancers even though the so called "PPH Refund policy" says we are entitled to the money in escrow after making two iterations to satisfy the client. Even when a client is also using abusive/offensive language throughout the workstream and demanding more than the project scope, the freelancer will be left out to dry with no payment. Pretty confident that PPH refund and dispute system is an algorithm that automatically refunds the client. Best of luck finding the paying clients. I am also very disappointed.

Mental Kim, the project was 130£ in escrow was 75£ the client was re found and they left just 25£ for me! so basically i did work more than 8 hours for less than 25£. I am with PPH for more than 7 years... and i invoice over 22k in this time.This was my first problem with a client... and a good lesson. I will just take a break from here and i will select better next client or not at all. What's the point to use PPH if there is no safety? Just to give them some money? Nope.... not happy at all!
