Approving project proposals

I have send a proposal to one of the projects. The employer is happy to give the project to me. How to ensure I will get paid at the completion of the project. Is there similar thing like awarding the project in freelancer in peopleperhour?

  Hello Shana, 

  After browsing through the community page, your question is similar to what I will also ask PPH. The hourly rate or fixed price is stated clearly for each project on the website, but I am worried about how payments are confirmed, especially if work is done by the hour. Thanks.
