    Hi Tracey,

I think the best way is to leave only medical writing on your skills list. Unless doing that, you'll receive irrelevant invitations based on general skills you might've entered on your profile.

I'm getting a lot of clickbait invitations. The websites don't exist. It's ads. Is there a way for PPH to screen these?

I just joined and I've gotten about 6 invitations, all outside of my skillset. They seem like bogus jobs. Wish there was a better screening process for this.

This is obviously an ongoing problem, since I have just not found threads about it up to seven years old.

The thing is, PPH is really no different from any other platform in this respect. For the past twenty years, I have had the same problem on regular "job board" sites -- I would do a very targeted search, then save my search parameters and request updates on new postings that meet those parameters. At that time, I was searching only for jobs in environmental conservation or biology; this is extremely niche. Every platform was the same: they all sent irrelevant updates, usually for jobs in admin, warehouse, engineering, or similar things.

I worry about the requirement to complete a project within a certain time frame after setting up my account. How can I complete a project when I can't get the relevant ones, and am constantly invited to irrelevant ones?
