Lost 50 points when it was buyers fault?
AnsweredI am slowly getting annoyed with this site. Last time I communicated out of the site I lost over 50 hours of work and got no money for it, because I had no proof of what was said on the phone.
Anyway this time someone buys an hourly for comments/posts. They send me their website link, (broken says website is closed) they send me a facebook link, to someone's personal profile and a whole list of what they want, blogs, comments, graphic designs etc.
I points out the links can't be used and why and ask exactly what they want, I go over what hourly they bought. To be sent the same message again.
I speak to customer service to be told I should call the buyer! Call them after last time I did I was told none of the information given over the phone can be used, so of course I refused. I went back to buyer again stating the hourly and that the links are broken.
They requested a refund stating I can not do the job, I point out I am fine to refund however they never gave me the information needed.
Refund went through and I lose 50 points because work was not to standard? Do the people looking at the chat's read before deciding whose fault it is and taking away a freelancers points?

Hello.
We apologise about the bad experience you had under our platform.
As per our terms and conditions, we urge our freelancers and buyers to never accept or get paid outside of PeoplePerHour as we are not able to review any communication, indeed.
As for the refunds we allow our freelancers 24 hours to reply to the refund process in order for our team to review and help both parties. I have also opened a ticket with our customer support team in order for us to review the case though as we understand your frustration and would like to review the case in order to come with a satisfying outcome.
Thank you.
