Status Update
AnsweredIn the PPH readiness test, which I passed with 96%, I was suggested that wait for 1 day is enough to know whether the seller is interested in awarding the work or not.
If that's the case then, why do we not get updates after 1 day of submitting proposals, that the seller has preferred to move ahead with other applicants.
That way we can commit better for other projects / clients, keeping timeline and scope of work in mind.

Hello Rkeysh,
By 'sellers' you are referring to Buyers.
A Buyer has 30 days to decide to whom she/he will award the Project. For all this time, the proposals are showing as PENDING to the Freelancers.
When you are submitting a proposal, there is an option at the bottom of the page, which -if selected- will send you an email when the Project is awarded to another Freelancer.
Most importantly though, you do not need to wait for your proposal to be seen. After you submit it, it would be optimal if you continued navigating our platform, in search of new Projects. If there is any development to a submitted proposal of yours, rest assured that we will inform you promptly.
Have a great week.

30 days window is too much for someone to decide on the project (marked urgent), whether it will be awarded to someone or not.
7-10 days are enough for a buyer to decide on the project.
We as sellers, apply to various jobs on everyday basis, and what if we are awarded multiple projects on any specific day. That way we will not be able to manage multiple projects on urgent deadline, bringing down ours credibility.
Hope this makes sense.
