Are we allowed to meet clients face to face
AnsweredI have a potential client that I'm talking to regarding the implementation of a CRM solution for their business.
Naturally the client would like to meet me and discuss the project with them and their stakeholders.
From what I understand all communication has to be done within the confines of PPH. Whilst I don't have an issue with keeping everything within the platform, there has to be face to face meetings with projects like this, emails/messages can be misinterpreted for a start.
Whilst I'm not suggesting I have done this, but if a potential client wants to meet the person they are about to spend a considerable amount of money with then is there allowances for this. Totally agree with putting the invoices through escrow to protect all parties, and all subsequent communications prior to and relating to said meetings would be on the platform etc.
Is this allowed? I have told the client that whist I am happy to have a meeting, I would need to check that neither of us are breaking the rules. So no meeting has taken place nor will it, if that is the rule.
We have had a few messages back and forth, and this is why I have come to you guys for help.
Many thanks,
David.

Hello David,
As per our terms and conditions, indeed, all communication needs to be kept under PeoplePerHour. That being said we can understand that some jobs require people to meet in person; that is the reason why we have the option when creating a job to make it on-site.
On the other hand, what we urge our clients to always do is for them to approve the proposal within the workstream in order for both of you to be covered in case the project doesn't conclude as you had in mind. Therefore the proposal, invoices and a review on what is happening regarding the project is something that our users are obliged to do.
If you have more questions feel free to email us at support@peopleperhour.com.
Have a lovely day.
