My profile is set to unavailable, yet somebody bought my offer

title says it all - I am unavailable for a while now, because I am busy with other projects at the moment. Back when I set things up I remembered that hourlies were meant to be turned off, when you set your profile to unavailable.
Yet there was a customer able to purchase my offer.
He really seems to be a nice guy and everything for him seems to be fine, but he deserves to get his money back - Eventhough I want to refund him, I am not able to do so. Can somebody from Support look into that?
