Have any other freelancers been subjected to additional checks recently? I have just had an invoice reject but PPH when checking because the buyer never said he was happy in the workstream despite the fact that they released the funds from the escrow and ticked the box to consent to the release. Is this another way to delay funds…..

  We routinely check all payments made to freelancers before releasing them. We also want to see clear communication between the buyer and freelancer to ensure the work delivered is acceptable and to a high standard, especially for new buyer accounts.
