Hi, what exactly are the fees for doing jobs on PPH? The website mentions that it would be 20% for any job below £250, but I have been charged 24% on two small jobs I did recently. 

With a fee of 24% and then taxes of 20% I have to pay as a freelancer, I am not left with much at all. The jobs that people are offering on PPH are usually low paid/underpaid jobs to begin with, and it honestly doesn't feel like it is worth the hassle sometimes... 

Can you explain why I have been charged 24% in fees please?

  Hi Ine, thanks for your message. 

  You're correct, it is a 20% fee (below £250) however this doesn't include VAT which is the extra 4% you've been charged.

  You can read more about this in our T&Cs in section 8.2.

  If you are VAT registered, however, there is the option to include the VAT amount in the invoice.

  When creating an invoice, choose the option "Includes tax". This will then let you fill in the tax percentage that you pay. If you wish to add that VAT amount to your final invoice, this should be made clear in the proposal to the buyer.
