How to write a proposal breakdown? I am still puzzled.
I have read some examples, there is an example that shows I can mark a milestone of my job, then add another one, but there isn't any bottom I can choose to add a new item of new milestone or proposal breakdown, such as I need to translate for a project, an article(1000 words), or some pages file(10 pages), how should I write it? just type translate 500 words, then amount 10 pounds, or translate 5 pages amount 10 pounds, I'd like to understand the rule, thanks for answering.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your question.
Milestones are usually advised for large/timely jobs that might take a while to be completed and that can be organised into segments. You're also best to discuss reaching milestones with the buyer and finding common ground before sending your proposal.
There's not a given rule in how to break this down. It's you that makes a great proposal. Your skills, experience and personality all play a part in winning the project.
Put yourself in the buyers shoes, what would you want to know about a freelancer before hiring them?
Introduce yourself. Talk about your past experience and the skills that make you perfect for the project.
Include samples of your best work and link to your PeoplePerHour profile. The more visual your proposal, the more likely it is to stand out.
Buyers look for efficiency, reliability and quality over price. They want a freelancer who won't let them down and will do the job right.
That's why it's important to consider how much completing the job will cost you in time and resources. Be honest and make sure that the project you're bidding for is worth your while.
We hope this information is helpful and any questions, please email support@peopleperhour.com and a member of the team will be happy to help.
Best wishes,
