Hello.

I live in Argentina and have no idea about what VAT number is.

Would you explain me what is a VAT number?

Do I need it?

  Hi Manuel, thanks for getting in touch. 

  VAT number stands for value-added tax identification number. Having a VAT number means that a business will add a VAT price to the products or services that they sell. Businesses are then able to get back the VAT that they paid when buying their goods.

  Adding a VAT number is not compulsory when creating a PPH account. If you are VAT registered, then you should add it under your billing information under the Settings>Payments section after signing up. This is to ensure invoices are valid for tax purposes.
