Invoicing non-PPH customers

When I first signed up for PPH a few years ago, the documentation said that I could use the invoice system to invoice other, non-PPH clients. I thought that was a nice feature -- a service for me and free exposure for PPH, so win-win.

The day is finally here, and I don't see a way to do it. I can't create an invoice without referencing a workstream, and I can't create a workstream which doesn't reference another PPH user.

Is there really a way to do this?

  Hi there, 

  We offer our freelancers the option to bring their clients outside PPH to the platform . To do that you need to use the ZERO FEE SCHEME program ( https://www.peopleperhour.com/zero-service-fee?ref=topmenu_loggedin). 
   
  All invoices that Freelancers raise concern a specific workstream and project with a buyer that does have a PPH account. There is no option to create an invoice for a collaboration that you have completed with a buyer that has no PPH account.
