Asking buyers for images
I'm new to PPH, but one thing I've noticed, and I'm sure I'm not alone, is the amount of buyers who ask for work on an image or images and don't post the picture. Most of the comments on jobs are 'where are the pictures?'. Now, if people want work on a picture, I'm in disbelief that they are expecting you to make a proposal with absolutely no information to go on. Instead the seller has to ask for the images to price it, which means waiting until the post is checked by the moderator before the buyer even sees the question.
Should there not be a rule that if a buyer has specific images they want editing that they must post the pictures? It seems that it's absolute plain common sense, but still the seller has to ask, I feel that, just as a sellers questions are moderated, so should the buyers requests to make sure they give a seller all the information they need.
If I'm going to sell a car, I'm not going to expect the buyer to have to ask to see a picture of it, why is it any different on here?
There are lots of jobs on here, which is great, but if I don't see attachments, I don't even bother looking anymore as I'm not going to waste my time waiting for a response just so I can see the image or images in question.
Am I missing something here? Is this an accepted standard that I've somehow missed?
