How to start working on per hour job

Hi Team,

Today I just got a chance to prove my strength and skills in terms of research. One of my client is just accept my proposal on per hour job. As this is my 1st time on pph I am not aware of the things like:

How my client knows my number of working hours?

Is that any software for time tracking?

Kindly let me know ASAP.

This is urgent
