fees
I'm not happy with the new fee arrangements from 1st May. I do not invoice £375/month so to justify the 20% you will charge, I will have to increase my fees, probably resulting in getting even less work. Its too big an increase!

Well, I just had to pay twice as much fees as I paid before. You can imagine my surprise. I was on a leave for one year and just came back to work.
All the "Knowledge base" documents users are referred to form the Payment page (for example when using fee calculator) are outdated.
Everything is in T&C so looks like it's good idea to check it once in a while. I still plan to go through my email box and see if I got any notification about this change. I hope I did and it is my fault I did not read it well.
I am an old user and still new fees apply to me, because PPH added a small trick to T&C and if user was not paied in May 2017 no matter when was registered has to follow new rules.
I was doing plenty of small jobs and paying 20% is simply insane! I will have to increase my prices to make up for it and it is already hard to get paid decent money for a work!
I am so deeply disapointed with a service I was using for so many years!!

Hi,
Why have you guys charged 20%?
I have been charged $96 for an invoice of $480.
Let me know what can be done about it and why such an exuberantly high commission?I have done more than $2000 worth of work from my PPH id and first time facing this issue. It used to be 15% till $280 and then reduces further.Pls do something about it.

I know that. I am not from the PPH team. We can be unhappy and complain, but they will do as they please without even letting us know. The only thing we can do is to leave this place go somewhere else :/
I wouldn't mind paying some kind of monthly subscription instead of this crazy fees.

I agree Anna, I'm a buyer but sympathise with you. I don't see where pph earns its fees and pph is suspiciously circumspect about their fees, that can change w/o notice, to both buyers and sellers. It's all buried in their policies instead of being up-front. Should be easy to set up a website that works better and treats people more fairly than pph.

They never react on issues like these. This is such a shitty platform it is a shame. How can they look in the mirror everyday?
I openly tell every buyer they can proceed with jobs outside PPH and I always give them examples what I have to charge here in order to make up for their ridiculous fees or what I charge in the "real" world.
They intercepted two of these messages to buyers within 2 weeks (and I'm seldom here, only if there are jobs worth quoting for. Most of the jobs here are only for amateurs, not professionals, at öeast with regards to rates.
Absolute losers, those PHP poeple, but they are öaughing their asses off, I'm sure ;-)

PPH has turned into a ridiculous platform to work on.
New service fee is even more stupid & instead of rewarding loyal freelancers they are encouraging us to leave the platform and sign up at some other website.
I have done $25k+ worth of work here in past 3-4 years
The new service fees applicable to my account is:
First $700 earned with a Buyer (excl. VAT) 20%
Between $700 and $7,000 7.5%
Over $7,000 earned with a Buyer 3.5%Suggest been more active on other platforms.
