Activating a new user 'gift'

I am a new buyer registered on peopleperhour. I was invited by Edouard Dupin and gifted £20 as a new user. However, when I accepted the invitation, the money did not register in my new account and I received no promo code to help pay for a job I need to get done. Any help on how to access this is much appreciated.
