Inactivity of buyers
I think it is a big problem. The buyers post a job and then simply disappear. I've only two jobs declined, the rest are just in limbo and thus using the credits that I could have used to apply for other jobs. Please do something about this.
I also want to suggest a monthly package for sellers instead of individual payments for credits etc.

Its either fake jobs posted by competition or freelancers found a way to bill outside of PPH to dodge 24% service fee.

There are over 6000 inactive jobs posted last month.
I'm top cert freelancer and I'm struggling to even get a response from buyers.

I am facing the same issue my all credits are just wasted. I am pissed off, Buyer not even checking proposals.
I continuously check the job... if its awarded or not but no its open for proposals.
Please do something.
buyer should not get that much time, Buyer should get only one day to award the job so that when buyer post a job he check all the proposals. Other wise he need to post the job again and again. -
I'm facing the same issues. I can see many buyers posting jobs on the same day they have introduced to PPH. Most of such buyers don't have completed the verification process. It's double the risk with the seller, as PPH asks verification at the time of payment and same time sometimes buyers profile get deactivated without any clues. Buyers should not allow to post jobs before completing verification process.

I'm a buyer and i kind of fit what the sellers here argue.
I've posted a job on Friday, have received 24 proposals.
I've rejected some immediately and took 2-3 days to consider others before rejecting them.
Atm. I have shortlisted 7. The moment I shortlisted one, i sent a message to the seller(maybe this should be automatic? telling the seller he has been shortlisted?) letting him now I would further contact him in a week(maybe you should force the buyers to message the sellers at least once a week telling them they are still considering or something?)
I've rejected a total of 20 of 24 withing 3 days of the proposals, while also telling them why in some cases(through messages, not just the reject options)
So now? Now I'm waiting for the interval I set myself to further answer them.
But again, there is information I'm working on relevant to what the seller will use to do his job, and these 30 days help me finish what I need to provide the seller so he, in turn, can do the job, without anyone breaking their promises.
So best suggestion? Find a way to make the buyers confirm they are still active on the job, and if the seller doesn't receive an answer within 1or 2 weeks of the proposal, allow the seller to withdraw the proposal.
