Payment made and project incomplete

The seller was extremely insistent that I make payment, once I did the job was not completed and I no longer receive responses. 

There is no money in the escrow so the refund feature doesn't work.

This is my first transaction on this website and it hasn't been a pleasant experience.

  Thank you for your message.
  
  I'm very sorry to hear about this.  We always request the buyers not to release the payment before the work is delivered because once the funds are paid out from escrow, we may not be able to get them back as they're no longer held in the escrow, as such we cannot assist you in getting those funds back.
  
  However, I would recommend you to communicate with the seller and ask them to complete the work, If the seller didn't respond and complete the work then let me know I will send an email to the seller to finish the work for you.
