Vet Buyer Jobs - duplicates
Twice in 1 hour I've reported buyers doing this. Essentially posting the same job, with minor wording variations.
It's not the first time an it's happening more and more.
It's getting out of hand and PPH DO NOT vet jobs, A buyer should ideally have only 1 job open at once, or if not then they should be manually vetted to cross-check with current open jobs.
Of course I'd be surprised if it happened after all each job gets 40+ proposals - wasted ones that means more revenue for PPH.
And increasingly pissed off Sellers...

Well, I've had to report buyers 4 times in the last week for essentially posting the same job, one buyer doing it 4 times.
This is getting to be an issue. There is NO entry point for buyers for posting jobs. None. It's just an excuse for PPH's CEO to go on breakfast TV to say that more & more people are using the site... well, with an 85%+ expiration rate they're all tyre kickers. Pointless.
So proposals:
1. Buyers buy credits e.g £10/$10/10E for 3 credits. This will cut down on a majority of buyers. But will produce a much higher standard of jobs.
2. One job open per buyer, additional jobs put in moderation que until manually vetted for quality / duplicates.
It will significantly reduce your bottom line for the number of jobs posted, so the number of proposals will reduce... but you will NOT alienate your sellers, the ones who pay for the site, and the ones you are increasingly treating like cattle.
As it is the site is becoming unusable for sellers. The amount of wasted time vs reward is untenable, and unsustainable.
Thanks

Same job different wording. Very typical of this. Buyer posts job with pretty much unrealistic budget for job scope. Gets multiple reality checks.
Posts job again a couple of weeks later in vain hope of a different result.

I have a buyer, Alan W. who responded to my hourlie and wanted me to join his Jobdone.com company that is recruiting sellers for their site. It said it was free, but then I read something that said until after you get your first buyer. So it looks improper. I don't want someone on here trying to recruit for other sites. I asked if he was interested in accepting my proposal for my hourlie and if not to please leave me alone.
Can you check him out please?
