REMOVE MILESTONE REVIEWS & PAYMENTS -

PPH really needs to stop this milestone review element.

I paid for a complex feature to my website and did all my due diligence possible, looked at 73 companies that messaged me, went down all their previous work and examined their review scores.

I settled on a company that had 98% 5 star reviews and all went fine at first, I was happy with the work and even started planning for my next project with them. Then as soon as that 5 star review button was clicked and my payment went after milestone one, the work quality went down - they had me now, my money is locked in.

The second part in relation to the milestone part, was that when milestone 2 came around which they had not even completed and i disputed for 2 weeks as the work was not done. I got message from PPH telling me i had to pay or they would take the money from my escrow and pay them anyway! What kind of scam is this??

The third part is that although you can give your "honest review", all this does is affect the algorithm to knock them down a little, but it doesn't stop buyers like me seeing 200 5 star reviews on their account. Its quite simple PPH, when someone fills in their honest review and it does not match what they gave, e you simply remove it. The other reason they will pay no attention to this is because it affects the schema of the 5 stars showing on google for click through rates showing they have 5 star reviews of freelancers on their site....It is basic SEO benefits.

I felt like i had to give them a 5 star review even though it was 2 star work, encase they did a runner with my money and left my site a state......By the way they did that anyway after the third stage.

This site is focused far to heavily in favour of poor quality, unvetted freelancers. I no longer feel safe using this platform.
