Paying Taxes
Hi,
I'm new to PPH and have so far completed just one job. I'm a video editor and currently employed by a contract on PAYE contract.
PPH is a great opportunity for me to earn some extra money as I can do small editing jobs in my spare time (evenings and weekends) and it doesn't get in the way of my work contract.
My question is what I need to do about paying tax on my extra income. I'm not sure how much money I will earn from PPH as so far I've only earned about £100. If I carry on at the rate I'm going (approximately £100 a month) I will only earn an extra £1200 a year (on top of my wages from my employer). I know it all has to be declared but it seems like doing a tax return for that amount is a lot of hassle.
Any advice on this would be helpful.
Nick

Hi Nick,
PPH do not have any input into your tax requirements
You would need to look at the tax requirements in your country and make sure you follow their rules and regulations
The money that you receive is money earnt minus the pph fees https://www.peopleperhour.com/static/terms#pph_fees
You can download all your invoices from your payments tag at the side of your main page
Hope this helps, any other questions please do not hesitate to askComment actions
