    Hi Ali,

    I can see you are awaiting a resolution from our PPH dispute team, I suggest you link your final uploads to Hinrich O within the workstream directly so they know exactly which ones are your 'best' and final product. that way they can decide on whether they are of usable quality or not.

    it is tough to have spent time working and not be paid at the end, however if you don't/can't provide what the client is after (i.e. the video is of too bad a quality) then just manage expectations. Don't promise too much and under deliver. It is better to under sell and over deliver.

    If this is pending resolution from PPH dispute, then why I have got notification if I don't respond to refund request, the money will be automatically refunded?

    Also I have told many times in workstream about the latest files. There have not one file. There have many files.

    You also could see how he was changing his expectations. I have even requested him if he don't want to pay the full amount, he could pay a partial amount.

    For the quality, I have told him thousand times that the video quality will be improved. But it should not be expected a 4K quality video from a 20+ years old footage. The stripes disappeared completely, the wraps decreased. Finally he requested to reduce the shake and I did too.

    Again i am clarifying that there have 3 work now. 1 is the main footage. 2. the 12 second clip. 3. another 12 second clip.

    If my work was not good, then why he gave me more footage to fix? Is not it a waste of time?

    And when everything is finished, he simply put the refund request.

    I told him first  time that there have a condition. This is reduce speed ensure reduce more wraps. After doing that, he wanted original speed. I gave the original speed with minimal wraps too. So what's wrong with my end?

    You are saying under sell and over deliver. I always followed that. But unfortunately all this became useless.

    Do you not think if a 1 minute footage price is 100 Euro, then how much should be 24 seconds?

    So do you think I am under delivering???

    Hi Ali,

    I understand your frustration. I am simply stating you need to place on record your 'finished product' so that the disputes team can see easily which work Hinrich O will have been given. I have seen many of the videos you have offered him and for 20 year old videos with shaking and all the other problems they probably had, they are pretty good I can tell you worked hard. I however can't see which is the final version you mean. If you upload that again to the workstream to make it clear, that will help, and also title it as the final version or versions.

    Unfortunately it isn't up to me to decide anything in this instance, likewise I cannot be in the mind of Hinrich and suggest what he would be using them for, or whether he was intentionally out to 'scam you' seeing as he gave you a lot of attempts to fix issues with the same video I highly doubt he was out to scam you, but again that is not for me to decide.

    Regards the quote under sell and over deliver:

    I don't mean under sell your services - I mean under sell expectations - i.e. in future say something like:

    "These shakes are so bad I may not be able to get rid of them all and the lines are making it so difficult for me to get rid of x,y,z..."

    This way when you get rid of all the lines they are amazed with your work and perhaps overlook the odd thing you cannot do (or no one could do on a 20 year old video without a tripod!).

    Regarding the dispute notification - have you raised an invoice? If not do so for the whole amount for now and see what the dispute team say.

    Yes. you are right. I did very hard work.You can compare with the sample footage he attached. There have too violent shaking, glitches, horizontal wraps and missing frames. And compare with what I have given to him. Yes we were working long but not on same video. there was 3 video in total. First when I submitted the full work, see the named as timelapse, he asked me to increase speed. Then we got the turbulent one. He asked me to reduce the shaking of first 46 second. so here we split into 46 second. as the video contain scene, so in stead of counting second, i counted the scene and there i have taken the full scene.

    When he got it, he asked me to do another video and you can see it in File 3. It went well because there have very little to do.

     

    Again he stated that he need the smile and I have given a version with smile.

    Now he gave me another clip with a woman and smile. I happily edited it and provided 3 different version. with again reduce shaking.

     

    When I have submitted the 46 second section with reduced shaking, he simply put a refund request.

     

    And you can see if I have told him how. I have told him the stripes, wraps will be removed/reduced. And you can see in new video there is no stripes/glitches. There have less wraps than the original footage. Like you said, I have said him too that all shake can not be removed as there have missing areas. But I will do what i can do at my best.

     

    And If he got other 2 video correctly, and if the 1 minute video is bad, then he could pay me for the rest 24 seconds. But without any type of discussion, he simply requested a refund.

     

    So is not it kind of tricks of getting free work? And again you said he have multiple attempt to fix. Yes we had. But they are not for only one video. There have 3.  1 went well when I told him that there is nothing can be done after the edit i did because of the clip condition.

     

    So when everything is finished, and if the work quality was bad, he could ask me how to resolve it. After days after days of multiple task and countless versions, final result is full refund??

     

    Then why he have given me 24 second extra clip?

    I generally don't reject refund request. Because it is not a good way. I would refund the full amount of money if I would not work for so long. But I can't tolerate anymore because I have put too much efforts on it. And I am sure that anyone can say the video is highly improved than the original one. Especially when the work is too hard and when you can expect bonuses for extra work, who will accept an unfair refund request??

    I can't raise an invoice. It says "This action can't be done when there is a pending refund request."

    Hi Ali,

    As soon as you raised the dispute (rejected the refund request) you will have been redirected to another page and asked a series of questions - did you answer those questions?

    This should have stopped you from getting that notification message. You cannot raise an invoice until the investigators have done their stuff. I was confused as to what you had done earlier.

    Thank you for your patience and thank you for placing extra notes/evidence in the workstream to make it easier for our investigators.

    Huh!!! Are you serious?

    You were confused before. But now you made me confused. I could not raise the dispute now. It asking me to pay 10 Euro. Why?? Also I did not get any questionnaires.

    Also you have been saying that you can see that I have an ongoing resolution from dispute team.

    So please just confirm me what is happening and what is going to happen?

    Will I get paid? or not?

    To be honest, I am getting too confused.

    Is your dispute team is investigating my workstream? or not?

    Also I am being too worried because at same time, I have contacted PPH support through email. But all I got is an automated reply. Nothing else.

    So please ensure me if you are on our track or I am wasting time?

    In your previous message, you have said -

    So you have still confusion if he was out to scam me or not. Then will I do one thing? Will I upload screenshots of workstream and upload them in public? Let's see what other people says?

    When a client request as many as possible and when everything is done, then simply disappear, what is this? This is fair client in your definition. Look our workstream more deeply. He requested more and more and I did as I could do. He was doing like- " little bit larger, move to left a bit, more left, no move to right, no, no smaller, move to down,... etc." But when followed everything with patience, simply put the refund request and then disappear. So this act is not scamming. Is that you want to say?

    Also at same time when I wrote here, I have contacted to customer support too. Only just 1 hour ago, I got a response. So how it looks? They are ensuring me that it is PPH's policy that if the seller worked, then he will get paid even a portion of the amount.

    So as for now, I will relay on this policy and will see what happens.

    and for the job I have posted, now I need to think again how it is safe. so tell me how I can stop notification it. It is flooding my inbox. Its very disturbing.

    If I unsubscribe from PPH email, will it stop receiving all email from PPH?
    or it will only stop about the job post?

    Hey Ali did your problem has been resolved ?? It is crazy to see the amount of scam that can happen on this website and no one is here to do anything about it...

    I have been contacted by a seller who just want to get free sellers working for him and using "free trial" as an way. I reported the user and my request has been market as "solved" but the user is still on the platform. Free to scam other sellers.

    Hello Joelle,
    No it's matter of sad that its not resolved. The buyer asked for refund when the work was completed. PPH approved the refund and I have ended with nothing. All my hard work and efforts is valueless.
