Web addresses in proposals

From looking at the summary of a proposal I've just submitted, it would appear that a web address has been removed. While I can understand that there's a case to be made for doing this to stop people exchanging off-PPH contact information at the pre-work stage, it's massively frustrating if a potential client can't fact check your real-world experience for their own peace of mind for a very specialist job.

Grey area, I suppose. Just venting really. *sigh*

  Moot point, as the buyer hasn't been on the site since they posted the job, and would appear not to have read my - or presumably anyone's - proposal. Another 15 minutes or so of my working life that I won't get back, and a total waste of time.

  I don't want to circumvent PPH rules and regs - they're by and large sensible and protect us well. There has to be some kind of overhaul of the system soon, however; it's losing you money as well as us.
