Hourlie Delivery Times
Hi,
I'm a top cert seller on PPH and have grown frustrated at the 5 day maximum delivery time for hourlies.
I sell branding packages of the highest quality that take a minimum of 10 days to complete if the client is quick with their communication and clear with their feedback. It can take over a month or longer if not. It's unfair to punish the seller with negative rankings for 'late deliveries' when we can't select a longer expected duration.
Branding and web design is a long process and differs drastically from client to client. For example, one of my clients has been automatically refunded this week because the project took 2 months. This was because the client is really busy and isn't in any rush for me to complete the project. I'm happy to wait and complete the work to the clients schedule so PPH shouldn't step in and issue automatic refunds. Instead it would be good to send a simple email out to both the client and the seller to ask how the project is going and if they need more time.
Thanks

Hi George,
Thank you for your message I will pass it on to our product team, however bear in mind our advice regarding hourlies and their purpose on our platform.
Taken from Hourlie posting policies:
https://support.peopleperhour.com/hc/en-us/articles/205218167-Hourlies-posting-policies
Keep it bitesize. Hourlies should be services that can be delivered within a finite amount of time and in no more than 5 days once requirements are received from the Buyer in the WorkStream.
Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

From a customer's perspective when buying an "hourlie" the implication is that it will take an "hour ish". It makes for a very awkward relationship when a buyer accepts a proposal, the system confirms the acceptance with an implied 24hr turnaround:
Quantity 1Ordered on 24 JAN 2018Expected delivery 25 JAN 2018and 10 days later its still outstanding.
