Invoices keep getting cancelled due to client's failed account verfication
Hi,
I have to ask this here, since the PPH CS has not replied and provided any solution to my issue, even though I have had this issue for a week now.
I have done and completed a job to a client. When I invoiced here, and after it is completed and rated by the client, PPH admin suddenly decided to cancel the payment, and then the fund gets back to the buyer's escrow. I tried to invoice her the second time with the same effect, even worse, the client decided to rate me lower because of this issue.
After a conversation with the CS; Suresh, it was revealed that the cause of the problem is not from me, but it is caused by my client not having her account verified. Now, she is not even online anymore in the pph workstream, the fund stays stuck in the escrow, and the only thin the CS asked me to do is to ask my client to verify her account like it is my responsibility. Nothing I can do, the CS has not even replied anymore, and it seems my hard-money money will forever stay in the escrow, and nothing I can do.
Can anyone give me any help os assistance here?

All transactions that are processed on Peopleperhour go through our standard security checks and we have a number of controls and checks that take place before any transfer of funds can proceed. These checks are part of our on-going commitment to maintaining the security of our customers’ funds.
Unfortunately we have been unable to verify your buyer's account electronically as such we're unable to release the invoice payment to you until we receive additional documentation.
If you're in touch with the buyer then please ask them to upload the documents so that we can verify their account and release the funds to you.

I have same problem
if we seller's account is verified then why this amount in escrow, why PPH allow buyer to get job done, we seller do our work, consume important time and in the last without money, PPH should not allow buyer's to deposit amount after job post and after verification they would deposit amount and get job done, it is totally unfair towards sellers, seller's are suffering , sellers done the job, seller's account is verified, it is not fault of sellers. it is fault of PPH's policy toward sellers. on other hand on other freelancing platforms there is totally different. account verification is must, but it should be in the starting like we seller's can not apply on job if our account is not verified. why they allow to buyer.i know PPH customer will not help in this regard.
