How did they close the project? The money is only released from an escrow when either you agree or there is no response from the buyer. Feedback should still be available to be left for up to 3 months unless a dispute was initiated.

Hello Adam, thanks for the comment, I confess to being to naive and trusting in this regards. The seller explained that what we were needing for programming an app was additional so we had to pay up if we needed more work. We needed to meet a client deadline so went ahead. In fact we never had a working prototype, we paid additional for the extra work. Then he just became non communicative, slow and not responding. He is very highly regarded with lots of 5 star miestone reviews. However he pushes for  those reviews at each milestone and refusing to work until he gets them. That and the payments. I gave up on the project months ago and today he contacting me wanting more money to release the code wehad requested. He had already closed the project months ago so there was no oportunity to leave a review. Upon checking his reviews I did fons some people who had experienced exactly the same issues as me. For me PPH is set up so that the system can be abused because the sellers of app development can hide behinf jargon and functionality at the milestone stage as if they have built something functional and you don't know if thats the case until everything is put together at the end, then when it is you have committed positive reviews and paid.
