Clients reciving many unsuitable proposals
Talking to a client today we were discussing the number of totally unsuitable proposals they are receiving on posted jobs. My client received over 22 proposals in less than 5 minutes of a job that she was going to award to me.
- how are they able to send them so fast
- why do PPH allow so many Freelancers that obviously don't have any experience and have copied and pasted images from the net

Hi Alex,
Sorry to hear that your buyer has raised this as an issue. We have very strict policies in place regarding freelancer applications to protect the quality of our community.
Our proposal algorithm also analyses the quality of freelancer proposals and puts a spotlight on any that are deemed high quality, as well as hiding proposals that are deemed to be low quality. Obviously, this isn't always 100% accurate, but we do take these issues very seriously and try to ensure that buyers can easily pick out the most suitable proposals for their projects.
Best wishes

It is a joke - I bring these freelancers up on a daily basis yet they don't seem interested in having a skilled and competitive freelancer market. One I pulled up to support last/this week copied my full information and he has absolutely no skills or experience and he is no older than 16 from the Ivory Coast. They reviewed his profile and now it is littered with spelling mistakes and broken English but they have left it available. Madness. My Copyscape reports at least 2 copies per week and no action is done - it is so annoying.
Bids are stupid now. I no longer bid or post jobs as certain freelancers will just say 'i'll do it' and quote silly prices that will make them a millionaire in India. This has been reported to PPH and they never act over it as they no doubt by proposals. It is amazing when you view the job boards to see the proposal people do. You should only be able to bid in one selected field.
