Seller Accounts
I have recently put a project on the job board and have been inundated with freelancers who do not hold skills relevant to the task. More concerning for me is the number of accounts that now use stock images (mainly of young women) to pass as themselves stating they are from a certain country when it is obvious they are not.
Why when you do your checks for accounts are you not checking the imagery people are using? I for one will not use a freelancer with fake pictures as they tend to be scammers. Surely this would be easy to clarify when checking documentation.

Have you issued a ticket on this, Adam?. I have, and have just been reminded that they have a lengthy backlog to get through.
I doubt anything will get done, but I'm requesting a talk with them - after all this benefits all of us. Buyers are not going to spend ages sifting through the rubbish they receive when posting a project. Interestingly, all the projects I've applied for recently have hit a brick wall - no one responds. This site has certainly gone downhill this last year, and the calibre of new 'freelancers' is certainly contributing.
I await to hear from PPH>

I'm primarily a freelancer - I don't often post projects but sometimes I don't feel well and just need a helping hand.
It's a really tough game now. I see many projects being awarded to people who have clearly undercut and don't have the required skills. I like to think the buyers will realise their mistake and go for quality the next time.
PPH have allowed far too many freelancers in - I say the word lightly. Many are in Asian countries and just see a pot of gold. It really is bringing the site down. I've been here 13 years. There's been peaks and troughs, highs and lows, but never has it been so poorly run and lacking in work.
Let's hope for all our sakes that things improve - and quickly!
