The time is takes to process payments is getting longer and longer
So now, not only are we subject to lengthy wait periods before payments are released to us - much to the overwhelming outrage of the community on here, all of which was roundly ignore by PPH - but now, from the time you submit a withdrawal request, you have to wait up to another 5 days. There is just no excuse for this - other platforms I work on release money immediately at the point a withdrawal is requested, and it is in my bank account straightaway.
I am forced to wonder to what extent PPH's business model is now based on just keeping hold of money for as long as possible, rather than actually creating profit through sales.

Hi Rachel, thank you for sharing your concerns with us. Firstly, we want you to know that we hear you and we're truly sorry to hear the impact that our payments process is having on you.
As a rapidly growing business, we have to follow stricter regulations and complete more checks before we can release payments that are made through our platform in order to protect our users. We can assure you that our processes, terms and conditions, and actions, all comply with current law.
The length of your clearing period will be determined by how much you have earned on PeoplePerHour in the previous two calendar months. This ranges from 3 days to 14 days. Following the clearing period, all withdrawal requests should be processed by the PeoplePerHour team within 2 working days - as the Easter weekend has just passed, and this may be why it has taken longer to process a withdrawal request, as the payments teams are only available during working days.
You will be able to see your current clearing period on your profile. Head to Actions >> View Earnings and go to Control Panel. You can also read more about the different clearing periods and criteria here.
As always, please feel free to email support@peopleperhour.com if you have any other questions and a member of the team will be happy to help.
Best wishes,
The Community Team
