Freelancer of the week
A great idea to promote freelancers on the site but your social media team are just lazy and don't do research - last post promoted copyrighted imagery and products and now your recent post on LinkedIn promotes 'freelancer of the week' iOS developer.
You state:
Congratulations to iOS developer, Usman Rana, who is our Freelancer of the Week. Usman signed up to PeoplePerHour 4 years ago and has been delighting buyers on our marketplace ever since with his deep understanding of developing mobile applications
Truth:
2 buyers and 10 projects in 4 years
Not signed in since 23/01/2023
How did he get recognised as the freelancer of the week? What are your criteria? I am sure there are active freelancers who deserve recognition.
Before you advise me to email your community email address I have done twice for the past 4 weeks with ZERO replies.

Hi Adam, thanks for your feedback.
We want to use our Freelancer of the Week as a way to promote different skills that don't usually get huge promotion.
The freelancers are picked through an internal data modeling process based on a number of factors including private feedback and customer satisfaction score.
Best wishes,
The Community Team

Yes, PPH, what value is to you to promote freelancers who aren't even active. It's the successful ones you need to focus on.
Clearly Usman Rana is not 'Freelancer of the Week' if he hasn't even been on the site since 2023. Frankly, this is an insult to your TOP CERT freelancers, the ones who keep you going with fees.
